The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) was founded in 1929 by Maria Montessori, Italian doctor and pedagogue. The goals of the association are the defense of children’s rights and the promotion of Maria Montessori’s philosophy.
AMI’s main activities include: training courses to Montessori’s pedagogy, training of tranisers, production of pedagogical material, publication of Dr. Montessori’s books in several languages, organisation of congresses and conferences.
